The Paso Robles Police Department [PRPD] continued to investigate this week what appeared to be a drive-by shooting that occurred a little after 10:30 p.m. last Friday, March 12 in the 2300 block of Lakefield Place in Paso Robles.

Central Coast Pathology announces new laboratory technology

San Luis Obispo-based Central Coast Pathology recently announced that it "enhanced its laboratory capabilities to respond to physician requests for blood tests with new equipment," unveiling a new instrument during an internal ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new system, called the cobas® 6000 Modular Pre-Analytic Chemistry System, analyzes blood samples for routine and innovative chemistry tests, according to Central Coast Pathology. ...more

Peoples' Self-Help Housing's [PSHH] Canyon Creek Learning Center in Paso Robles recently got a visit from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services.

28th Annual Ladies Conference

More than 300 women attended the 28th Annual Ladies Conference held at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion last Friday, March 5, and Saturday March 6.
The conference, dubbed "Joy: Learning to Live Above Your Circumstances," featured celebrated speaker Judy Hampton, known for her comical and inspirational performances. Vocalist Mandie Pino also performed at the event alongside pianist Carol Rischer.

SLO Supervisors approves lead agency for energy grant

Woman allegedly causes DUI collision on Hwy. 101
