A magnitude 3.4 earthquake occurred in the North County last weekend.
According to the United States Geologic Survey [USGS], the earthquake struck at 2:01 p.m. last Saturday, centered approximately 10 miles south/southeast of Parkield, nine miles north/northeast of Shandon, 20 miles east of San Miguel and 22 miles east/northeast of Paso Robles.
The earthquake measured at a depth of 5.7 miles.
According to the USGS Community Internet Intensity Map, a tool that measures how communities feel earthquakes, areas around Templeton and Shandon felt "weak" to "light" shaking, while areas around Paso Robles did not feel as much.
