City lauds Estrella Warbirds, approves 2013 date

PASO ROBLES — Citing the resounding success of the Estrella Warbirds' annual Airport Day in 2012, city officials have given the green light to the group in 2013.

Following post-event discussions with city staff and Warbirds organizers, an agreement recently signed with the city will allow the event to be held on Oct. 5.

The 2012 event was held on Sept. 29 with a full airshow and Warbird fly-in demonstration — a first time for the museum.
