SAN MIGUEL — At San Miguel-based Lillian Larsen School, bringing the farm to the school, so to speak, never got easier.
At least that's the evidential sentiment following the inaugural launch of Sunset's SAVOR the Central Coast event several years back as students from Lillian Larsen continue hands-on education in a backyard garden project, according to Lillian Larsen agricultural teacher Christina Wilkinson.
Sunset donated the garden a few years ago after its first SAVOR event at Santa Margarita Ranch and the following year in Creston.
