DOWNTOWN SYNERGY — The IOOF Hall, Hayward Lumber lot and historic Clocktower Building are now under new ownership in downtown Paso Robles. The A&R Furniture building is also being renovated and will soon be occupied by new tenants.

PASO ROBLES — A local investor acquired three iconic Paso Robles properties last month: the Clock Tower Building across from Downtown City park at 12th and Park St., Odd Fellows building located next door at 1234 12th St. and Hayward Lumber lot, 944 Pine St.

The owner of the three properties is “a very philanthropic individual who is interested in doing a lot of things for the benefit of downtown,” according to Keith Gilliss, broker for Prime Commercial Real Estate.

After looking at both the Clock Tower building and the Odd Fellows building next door — where F. McClintock’s is located — Gillis said the investor decided to go with both. The two properties sold on Dec. 14.
