Steinbeck chosen as Mayor Pro-Tem

PASO ROBLES — City Councilman Ed Steinbeck was chosen to serve as the next Mayor Pro Tem for the city of Paso Robles.

Steinbeck was elected on a 4-0 vote of the council, with City Councilman Steve Martin absent, during the traditional liaison assignment re-organization, typically done the first meeting in January following an election year.

Steinbeck, who was elected in 2010, will replace councilman John Hamon in that role.
