Eagles aim to bring home win vs. Saints

SANTA MARIA — The Templeton High School football team will travel to Santa Maria tonight to take on the Saints in their second game of the Los Padres League season.

The Eagles (4-1 overall, 1-0 LPL) defeated Nipomo 36-18 last week and are looking to bring home a victory over the Saints for their third straight win.

“Each game is a new game,” Templeton head varsity coach Dan Loney said after the Nipomo win. “We have a lot to work on, but if we can keep learning as we are winning and get better every week, we will be all right.”

Varsity game time is 7 p.m. Junior varsity takes to the field at 4 p.m.
