Eagles tie Tigers, Warriors

TEMPLETON — Before playing the Righetti Warriors on Tuesday afternoon, the players on the Templeton High School varsity boys’ soccer team gave the rain-soaked crowd an afternoon to remember last Thursday as they hosted the San Luis Obispo Tigers in a 1-1 tie game.

The Eagles faced the Tigers, the defending PAC 7 league champions, in a muddy battle. The Eagles came off a tough loss to Arroyo Grande, which inspired Coach Rich Sullenger to push hard through the weekend in preparation for the game with the Tigers.
