Chickens always come home to roost, so they say. Now, so do the hungry. That is, since Templeton restaurant Roost opened last summer at 105 North Main St. with an emphasis on “fresh, simple and delicious” dishes.
The European-style bakery offers more than melt-in your mouth, flakey croissants.
Dig into a juicy, roasted half-chicken with root vegetables and mac and cheese, an order of crab cakes, a refreshing beet salad sprinkled with goat cheese or perhaps just a hot cup of joe.
