William E. Halopoff, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton.
He was born in the Russian community in east Los Angeles and grew up in Altadena, Calif. After his military service, he graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1968 and worked for FMC Corporation in San Jose, Calif. as an International Design Consultant. He was also a fine artist, often winning awards for his detailed pencil renderings at various art shows.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife, Nancy; his son, Guy; his daughter and son-in-law, Jeff and Carolee Peterson; and three beloved grandchildren, Emily (13), Jenna (11), and Davis (9); his sister, Marilyn Noel; and extended family, all of whom share wonderful memories of the outgoing, wonderful character that was Bill.
A memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Paso Robles, on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 10 a.m.
