Marilyn Jean (Lehnhoff) Dusi of Templeton passed away at home on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 of natural causes. She was 82.
Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Templeton. She was born in August of 1930 to Ernest and Vivian (Quarnstrom) Lehnhoff.
She married Robert P. Dusi on Feb. 19, 1950. Together they had two sons, Alan and Mark. They were married for 45 years until his death in 1995.
Marilyn lived her entire life in Templeton. She had a love for Templeton, its beautiful countryside, especially the spring wildflowers.
She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary, participating each year in their annual poppy sales.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Donald and Judy Lehnhoff of Rohnert Park, Calif.; her son and daughter-in-law Alan and Karen Dusi of San Diego; son Mark Dusi and Karlene Jensen of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren (Melanie Rogers of Lebec, Alisa Dusi Ashwell of San Diego, Kevin Dusi of San Diego and Dean Dusi of Burbank). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren (Anthony, Trinity, Blane and Aidan), as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Templeton Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 2, under the direction of Chapel of the Roses.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 220 or your favorite charity in Marilynís name.
