KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia ó Following a weather postponement due to heavy fog on Monday, Feb. 17, the menís snowboardcross event at the Winter Olympics in Sochi took place in the early morning on Tuesday.
Paso Robles resident and snowboarder Trevor Jacob ó competing in his first Olympic games as the youngest member of the U.S. team ó had a strong day of racing after the delay.
Jacob and veteran teammate Nate Holland faced off in the same 1/8 final heat, with Jacob taking the top spot and Holland failing to qualify for the next round.
