PASO ROBLES — The Central Coast has been begging for rain for months, but when Mother Nature finally chose to let it fall the start of spring prep sports was put on hold for many teams.
One of the sports affected most by the inclement weather over the weekend was track and field, as the much-anticipated Bearcat Relays held at Paso Robles High School had to be postponed.
The event was expected to draw as many as 11 schools to the track on Saturday, March 8, but the conditions were unfit for competition.
As a result, the Bearcat Relays have been rescheduled for Saturday, March 29 with a 9 a.m. start time. For the complete article see the 03-04-2014 issue.
