PASO ROBLES — There’s a clash between rural homeowners and motocrossers with noise at the center of the conflict — homeowners spoke out last week; and this week it’s the riders.
Though the riders admit there are some who don’t respect their environment, most do, they say.
“Packing up the truck and heading to the riverbed? That, for my kids and I, means freedom, fun, challenges, bonding, and so much more,” said motocrossing mom Deanna Daniels who rides with her husband, Jimmy, and three children. “I have a 13-year-old girl, 12-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. My oldest is competitive and this is not only an outlet but a mental training course. Aside from the love of outdoors, we can grow together.
