Templeton volleyball players earn sweeps

TEMPLETON — The players on the Templeton High School varsity volleyball team have been powering through their matches this past week, bringing their record to 5-1 overall.

Last Thursday, the Eagles swept the Lompoc Braves 25-22, 25-11, 25-13 in their Los Padres League opener.

Heather Fields had 10 kills for Templeton. Mari Stewart had 13 digs and six kills, Sydney Roth had 16 assists and four aces, and Lindsey Wyatt had 24 digs for the Eagles.
