ALPAUGH — The Shandon High School varsity football team won its non-league game against Alpaugh to improve to 2-1. The Outlaws walloped the host Buffaloes football team by a count of 61-21 in Saturday's non-league outing.
“Our line blocked better this game, and the overall team morale has picked up,” Shandon head coach Marc Sandall said. “Collectively, I think they raised their level of play as a team.”
Hector Rangel led the Outlaws with four touchdowns and averaged 27 yards per carry.
