"I've had a lot of great players come through the ranks and I have a lot of great coaches who have been with me for a long time," Schimke said. Schimke recently celebrated his 100th win with the Bearcats.

PASO ROBLES – With the Paso Robles High School varsity football team's 42-27 win over Madera last Friday, Rich Schimke reached the 100 wins mark as head varsity coach of the Bearcats.

"We are very proud of this accomplishment here at Paso Robles High School," PRHS Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Tom Harrington said. "Rich has a long history of working with young people and getting them to achieve their full potential. There have been a lot of student athletes who have benefited from his guidance."

Schimke was humbly reserved when talking about his accomplishment.

"It's just a sign of longevity," Schimke said. "The way I look at it, if you do things long enough, things are going to accumulate."
