Jenni Ashcroft hired as new Cal Poly assistant track coach

SAN LUIS OBISPO — Jenni Ashcroft, a former All-American at Nevada who has coached at Oregon the last six years, has been hired as an assistant track and field coach at Cal Poly. The announcement was made last week by Mustang head coach Mark Conover.

Ashcroft will coach pole vaulters, high jumpers and the multi events at Cal Poly, replacing former assistant Jack Hoyt, who left to become associate head coach at UCLA.
