War Memorial scoreboard has seen better times

Are there 10 seconds left or 30? Thatís what many Bearcat fans have been asking as the 27-year-old War Memorial Stadium scoreboard struggles to keep up amidst crumbling wiring and outdated components. Photo by Meagan Friberg.

Anyone who has attended a Bearcats football game this season at War Memorial Stadium will relate to a common question overheard amongst the crowd: Is there 3:13 left in the quarter or 3:33?

The 27-year-old scoreboard has finally started it's journey toward the great scoreboard resting grounds in the sky according to Ashley Lightfoot, director of business operations for the Paso Robles School District.
