PASO ROBLES — Ballots counted this week favored Paso Robles City Councilman and Mayor Steve Martin as the highest vote-getter for two seats up for grabs, with incumbent Fred Strong garnering the second-highest votes, according to final unofficial election night results finalized by the SLO County Clerk-Recorder this week.

A total of 2,621 ballots remained to be counted as of press time, which could alter the election results.
