PASO ROBLES — In a unanimous show of support, the PRJUSD board voted Tuesday to funnel $147,500 from the pending sale of a district-owned property at Oak Park into Bauer-Speck Magnet School and its visual and performing arts magnet.
The property is in the process of being sold to the city of Paso Robles Housing Authority for a total of $385,000. Funds from the sale will also benefit other district needs, including beefing up the reserve budget and bringing long-awaited internet and phone system upgrades to Pat Butler and Kermit King elementary schools.
