Must! Charities partners with local wine, tourism to foster meaningful support of local nonprofits

TEMPLETON — Must! Charities Executive Director Becky Gray wanted to do good in North County, and not just “raise a few hundred dollars here and there” good.

“Our community is very generous and willing to give left and right to organizations and to those in need,” Gray said. “However, [that giving] is fragmented. We thought, ‘what would it look like to give a gift of $200,000 to a local organization and how could we foster change?’”

Gray said the missing link in that equation was involving what may be North County’s most lucrative natural resource: The local wine and tourism industries.
