PASO ROBLES — It’s tragic, but true: Over the past nine years, 18 Paso Robles area teens and young adults have lost their lives in car accidents.
With this in mind, more than 600 Paso Robles High School students took a somber safe driving pledge during a heartfelt and eye-opening presentation held in the school’s parking lot Dec. 3 through 5.
The exhibit showed real-life mangled cars, chalk-outlined bodies on the pavement, deployed airbags and shattered windshield glass.
