Homemade meat, pasta and Old World charm at LaGuardia

ITALIAN DELIGHT — LaGuardia’s Italian Deli owner Lou LaGuardi offers up recipes decades in the making — including homemade sausage.

Everyone in Lou LaGuardia’s family can cook, and cook well. That’s thanks to LaGuardia’s grandmother, who inspired generations to follow her footsteps into the kitchen.

“In 1912, my grandmother started cooking for my grandfather,” LaGuardia said. “What we do here are family recipes from my grandmother, my aunts, myself. It’s a family-feel, family business. We love to eat, drink and be happy.”
