Bearcat girls topple Warriors, lose battle with Panthers

PASO ROBLES – After taking part in the Righetti varsity basketball tournament, the Paso Robles varsity girls earned a win over Righetti Wednesday before hosting Pioneer Valley Friday night but were unable to hang on to their early lead as they fell 55-36 to the visiting Panthers.

In the Righetti tournament, the Bearcats toppled Lompoc, 51-18, with Molly Donovan scoring 22 points. The Bearcats moved on to beat Santa Maria, 48-22 and Santa Ynez, 55-18, before losing to Santa Barbara, 65-38...
