Paso Robles Wine Country gifts more than $110,000

PASO ROBLES — The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance recently announced its 2012 Community Grant Program recipients.

The wine community came together in 2012 to raise funds for local charities through the Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival Auction, RESERVE Futures Auction and the Paso Robles Wine Country Auction. Alliance winery, grower, hospitality and associate members donated a range of lifestyle and wine country auction lots to make this program possible. Nine worthy San Luis Obispo County organizations were chosen as grant recipients, totaling more than $57,000. In addition to the Community Grant Program, the Alliance supported many more San Luis Obispo County groups through in-kind and monetary donations with a value of more than $53,000.
