New Land Use Element for SLO County released to public

SLO COUNTY — The San Luis Obispo County Planning and Building Department has prepared a public review draft of a proposed reorganization and consolidation of the Land Use and Circulation Elements (LUCE) of the County General Plan.

The reorganized and consolidated LUCE will benefit the public and the county by:

· Saving time and costs when plans are updated in the future

· Enabling updates to area plans for an entire region at one time, making for more effective planning for land use and transportation and water resources
