Giants World Series trophy to land in Paso

PASO ROBLES — San Francisco Giants fans in Paso Robles are in for a treat.

For those like local hotelier and longtime Giants fan Matt Masia waited decades before their team secured a World Series trophy.

The Paso Robles Police Athletic League to host the San Francisco Giants 2012 World Series Trophy Tour in the Downtown City Park Gazebo from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2013.

According to city project manager Freda Berman, the event has no hard costs for the city. Meanwhile, the Paso Robles Police Athletic League will be allowed to ask for a voluntary donation of $1 from those attending to support and enhance the Junior Giants program.
