PASO ROBLES — Future Eagle Scout Sam Rollins is leaving his mark on the lives of local band students.
As part of his required Eagle Scout project, the Paso Robles High School sophomore cleaned and refurbished 13 band storage cabinets in dire need of repair.
The sixteen-year-old partnered with Flamson Middle School Principal Gene Miller and band teacher Cindy Lindquist to execute the project. The Flamson Middle School PTA covered the cost.
Rollins started in Boy Scouts at 11-years-old. He lives in Paso Robles but scouts in Atascadero with troop 226, led by scout master Eric Monson.
