Eagles are being positive about season

SANTA MARIA — The Templeton High School boys varsity soccer team took flight to meet the Santa Maria Saints for a Los Padres League match on Tuesday with the Eagles losing to the Saints on a last-minute goal to end the game, 2-1.

The Eagles began the game with marked improvement in passing, ball control and spacing since the opening games.

“I’m pleased again for a couple reasons,” THS head coach Rich Sullenger said. “The team is continuing to work our system of play. Our transition into the midfield has been better.”
