Ready, set, demolition for Oak Park phase I

PASO ROBLES — For Paso Robles Housing Authority Director Armando Corrella, the day carried with it a very deep importance. For Corrella, the sound of demolition signaled the start of new construction at Oak Park.

From City Councilman and former Mayor Steve Martin, who reminded those gathered of the many musical eras gone past throughout the decades, to State Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian field representative Kevin Drabinski, who recounted the importance of neighborhood synergy — it was a day of profound importance to many.

On Tuesday, officials gathered at Oak Park for an official groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the first phase commencement on the project.
