Character counts at Almond Acres Charter Academy

PASO ROBLES — Through her own real-world experiences, 10-year-old Almond Acres Charter Academy fifth-grader Naomi Phillips knows what it means to be a good citizen.

Students at the K-6 charter school — located on the Lillian Larson Elementary School campus in San Miguel — have been earning good citizen coupons as part of the nationwide Character Counts program. The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce sponsored last Friday’s luncheon celebrating exceptional students like Phillips.
