PASO ROBLES — Cautiously optimistic but in a better economic condition than the state and nation, the city of Paso Robles and its city council received an updated financial forecast last week.
The information — "good news," according to city officials — comes following five years of what's described as aggressive cost-cutting measures by the city, staff cutbacks and reductions in city services.
The financial forecast covers the five fiscal years 2013-17.
City officials said that continued fiscal discipline is the watch word for now.
