31st St. shooting shocks community, neighbors

PASO ROBLES A "very good neighbor," "hard-working person" and someone who offered help whenever needed: These were words used by the neighbors about a Paso Robles man who was shot and killed.

Police are now seeking clues are now surrounding a drive-by shooting that left victim Victor Hugo Sanchez, 37, dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 3100 block of Spring Street over the weekend.

The adult male victim suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday, Feb. 23 at approximately 9:28 p.m.
