Terry Franklin

Keller Jr.

Terry Franklin Keller Jr,. a proud and loving father, husband and friend, passed on to the next phase of his journey Monday, March 25, 2013. He had bravely fought a rare form of pancreatic cancer for the past five and a half years. While he battled for every moment he could get with his family, he was greatly looking forward to meeting his creator. We are pleased to announce that his spirit finally beat cancer and has moved on to greater adventures.

Terry was born in March 1966 and raised in Atascadero, having graduated from Atascadero High School.

He enjoyed every minute of his brief 47 years. He was a deeply spiritual man and loved all religions, especially his deep faith in his Native American beliefs.

He was well respected and had a strong presence in the martial arts community, cancer support community, local construction field and his local and distant sweat lodge and Sundance family.

Terry deeply loved his children Lexi Keller, Terry Keller III and Jade Keller Stoudt (Dustin); and grandchildren Spencer and Mya. He is also survived by his wife and partner in life, Ellalina Emrich Keller; parents Terry Sr. and Carol Keller; brother, Chad Keller (Shelly); nephews Chad Jr., Jake and Levi.

He will also be missed by his in-laws, Mike and Anna-Louise Emrich; and brother in-law, Kristian Emrich (Hilary); brand new niece, Mylee; and numerous other loving family members.

In the end, Terry found the true meaning of life — to be loved — and deeply wanted the world to know how important it was to love one another.

A special thank you to the community at large and all of our friends and family who have supported us through every step of this journey. What an amazing community we live in! An overwhelmingly huge thank you to his medical team at the Stanford Cancer Center, Central Coast Hospice, Tia Glickman of Center for Counseling and Recovery, Wendy McKenna of Global Alliance for Balancing and Healing, Melanie at Natures Touch and Harvest, and Mara and Brian of Main Street Chiropractic and Mara Sanchez Massage, the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Community, and Solarponics Family.

Please join us to celebrate Terry’s life at 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at Barney Schwartz upper Park (Lake Pavilion) in Paso Robles.

In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to research to end this terrible disease, in memory of Terry Keller, Attn: Dr. Pam Kunz, Stanford Division of Oncology, Phyllis Bussey, 269 Campus Drive, CCSR 1115, Stanford, CA, 94305-5151; or locally to the Terry Keller Memorial Fund, set up at Coast Hill’s Federal Credit Union, to assist with Terry’s medical bills.
