Cattlemen’s Western Art Show celebrates founder

PASO ROBLES — In 1991, the first Cattlemen’s Western Art Show unfolded within the Madonna Barn. Since then, the premier Western art event has grown into roomier digs at the Paso Robles Event Center, encompassing nationally acclaimed artists spanning the country. Over the years, one fact has remained: None of it could have taken place without late founder Larry Bees. This year’s show runs April 5 to 7 and will celebrate Bees’ dedication to the show as well as his artwork.
