4 a.m. last call bill fuels debate

PASO ROBLES The 4 a.m. last call bill is being hailed as way to draw more tourists and their dollars.

Last call for drinks in California is 2 a.m. but state Senator Mark Leno proposes extending it to 4 a.m. Leno said the measure would make the state more competitive with other hotspots like New York, Las Vegas and Miami that serve alcohol later into the wee hours of the morning or 24 hours a day.
