Eliza Jean Black, 83, of Paso Robles, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2013 in Templeton. She was born on April 17, 1930 in Belfast, Northern Ireland to her parents, Lancelot and Lillie Garrett.
Eliza “Jean” Black was the first of three children of Lillie and Lance Garrett. She married Jim Black in Glendale in 1959. Jean and Jim reloacted to Paso Robles in 1989. Jean was a devoted wife, special mother, adoring grandmother, and delighted great-grandmother.
Jean is remembered by her loving daughter Heather, granddaughters Jennifer and Krista, grandson Justin, and great-grandsons Joziah and Kaleb and loving sister Etta. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim and brother Lance.
Relatives and friends are invited to a service for Jean at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 1703 Spring St. in Paso Robles. Burial will follow at the Paso Robles District Cemetery at 11 a.m.For the complete article see the 07-19-2013 issue.
