SANTA MARIA — Templeton High School varsity football traveled to Santa Maria on Friday to face the Pioneer Valley Panthers in hopes of improving on their season-opening 45-0 loss to Carpinteria, but the Panthers hung a similar score on the Eagles, 44-0, and handed Templeton its second loss of the season.
The Eagles started 0-2 for the first time since 2008. The bright side is that the Eagles made it to the CIF playoffs after starting 0-2 in 2008.For the complete article see the 09-10-2013 issue.
