PASO ROBLES — California is a signature away from having one of the highest minimum wages in the nation.
Governor Jerry Brown is expected to sign the state Assembly bill passed by both houses of the Legislature last week, and as a result, the state’s minimum wage would increase by $2 by 2016. It would jump to $9 in July 2014 and to $10 by January 2016.For the complete article see the 09-20-2013 issue.
