PASO ROBLES — It seemed fitting that preschool-aged children grabbed the shovels from the officials and eagerly began digging in the dirt Tuesday morning.
The youngsters from the First 5 Early Education Center wearing Georgia Brown Elementary School Tigers t-shirts were helping dignitaries at the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Uptown Family Park.
The 1.3 acre park is on the northwest corner of 36th and Spring streets in Paso Robles. Construction is expected to be completed by spring of 2014.For the complete article see the 09-27-2013 issue.
