Paso Robles Cooperative Preschoolers plant a tree for National Arbor Day

The Paso Robles Cooperative Preschool, ages 2 to 5, celebrated National Arbor Day on April 27, by learning about trees and planting a tree in their playground. These were some student observations from the day:

“Trees give shade.”

“Trees make clean air.”

“Trees make clean water.”

“Trees are homes for bugs and birds and some animals.”

“Trees make food like fruits.”

“Some trees are very, very, very old and high up to the sky and some trees are new and little-tiny.”

“Trees are friends.”

“Trees save our planet.”
